 | Dr May-Kuen SimBDS (Hons) FRACDS FICDDEMay-Kuen is the principal dentist at Better Teeth Dental Care, and has been practising dentistry for more than 26 years. She graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney in 1999. She undertook further study and attained her fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2005. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association.
She has had the role of clinical educator for the University of Sydney training dental students for the profession. More recently (2016), she obtained another fellowship, this time in orthodontics for general practice. Passionate about education and quality dentistry, May-Kuen regularly reviews and upgrades her skills in many aspects of dentistry. She is truly committed to taking care of her patients.
As a mother of three, she has a special rapport with children. She also enjoys giving talks to local schools and preschools, and being a part of the local community. In the last couple of years, she has also worked as a volunteer dentist to provide dental treatment to the disadvantaged through the ADA's Filling The Gap scheme.

Haily hails from a decade working in the Australian countryside and has come back to Sydney to live a wholesome life.
He is highly capable in dealing with all your general dental needs and has a special interest in oral surgery (wisdom teeth and implants).
When he's not dentisting you will find him in Japan on the snow or taking his mountain bike to as many corners of Australia as he can find.
Haily is multilingual and speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Kathy graduated from University of Sydney in 1999 and has been working in private practice at various metropolitan locations for the past 20 years. She has a special interest in preventive dentistry and oral surgery.
Kathy is passionate about health practice and ethics and has completed a Master of Health Law in 2015. Kathy has been appointed as a lecturer/clinical demonstrator at University of Sydney since 2012, with her main role being clinical supervision and mentoring of dental students studying in the Doctor of Dental Medicine Program.
In her spare time, Kathy enjoys reading, travelling, and spending time with her two Cavoodles. Kathy speaks fluent Cantonese and Mandarin.

We have taken great delight in our Oral Health Presentations to the local preschools. It began when May-Kuen was a parent at a local childcare centre. This has now grown to an annual event for many of the local childcare centres in North Strathfield and Concord. The topics presented are visiting the dentist, teeth brushing and healthy eating.
May-Kuen has also done several OSHC visits. At after school care, topic covered are dental development, dental trauma and mouthguard awareness.
We also support the local public and high schools through their P&C community events.
Some of the schools have been Concord High School, Concord West Public School, Concord Public School, Newington Public School, Mortlake Public School, Our Lady of the Assumption North Strathfield.
